Laure ALBIN-GUILLOT

Introduction

Laure Albin Guillot, born in 1879, has produced many different genres of photography. Between portraiture, landscape, still life, fashion, nude or reportage, Laure Albin Guillot also produces abstract images. Recognized for French photographic landscapes, she became a member of the French Society of Photography, director of the Photographic Archives of the General Directorate of Fine Arts, as well as the first curator of the Cinémathèque Nationale and president of the Union féminine des carrières commerciales et libérales. She ended her life in 1962 at the Maison nationale des artistes in Nogent-sur-Marne.
